What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
Provide comprehensive medical physics support for proton radiation therapy
Ensure safe and effective delivery of proton therapy through quality assurance and program development
Collaborate with physicians, dosimetrists, and therapists on treatment planning and dose calculations
Perform commissioning, calibration, and quality control measurements
Maintain compliance with applicable state and federal radiation regulations
What is Required (Qualifications)
Ph.D. in a relevant field
Graduation from a CAMPEP‑accredited residency program
Experience with proton therapy preferred; familiarity with the RayStation treatment planning system is a plus
Must have proof of legal authority to work in the United States on the first day of employment
Willingness to undergo pre‑employment screening including criminal background check

Experience with proton therapy and the RayStation treatment planning system
Background in developing departmental standards for physics and dosimetry
Previous involvement in quality improvement initiatives within a medical setting
