Position Overview The Ohio State University College of Medicine and the Wexner Medical Center seek a Skull Base and Ablative Head and Neck Surgery Fellow to join the Department of Otolaryngology‑Head and Neck Surgery. The fellowship is conducted within a collaborative surgical environment that embraces a team surgery approach. Fellows will gain experience in the management of skull base lesions through open, hybrid, and endoscopic approaches, as well as ablative head and neck oncologic surgeries for mucosal, salivary, and endocrine malignancies.
Responsibilities
Help run a weekly planning conference to discuss management strategies.
Participate in the head and neck tumor board and engage in clinical research projects.
Attend conferences and maintain an instructor‑practice faculty appointment as junior faculty.
Independently staff surgical cases and teach residents.
Requirements
Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO).
Completion of an Otolaryngology residency.
Board Certified or Board Eligible in the required specialization.
State of Ohio, full, unrestricted medical license and paid DEA license.
Final candidates are subject to successful completion of a background check. A drug screen or physical may be required during the post‑offer process.
