ONEOK, Inc.
* Utilize computers and SCADA digital displays to determine sufficient operating pressures and to monitor and direct flow of natural gas or gas liquids though pipeline system* Determine load requirements using company approved forecasting model. Compare this forecast to forecasts based on analysis of current and predicted weather conditions, current system conditions, and operating objectives* Analyze and assist in identification and resolution of communication problems. Take appropriate action to minimize drastic reductions in pressure caused by line breaks or other unusual occurrences* Monitor system gas or liquid quality and take appropriate action in response to changes* Calculate and/or verify the following, including but not limited to:
+ Receipts
+ Deliveries
+ Storage injections and withdrawals
+ Pipeline system load requirements
+ Transportation imbalances
- Start/stop of receipt/delivery flows and compressors or pumps
- Storage injection and withdrawal requests
- Field personnel call-outs
- Nomination confirmations and changes
- Gas quality issues
- Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition System (SCADA) communication problems* Compile, prepare, and/or post information including but not limited to:* Communicate information and/or instructions related to system operations and contractual obligations to company field personnel, schedulers, and pipeline controllers from other companies* Utilize the ONEOK Communication System (OCS) for the following:
+ Emergency/non-emergency communication
+ Setting up conference bridge
+ One-Call center line locates* Train employees in performance of duties related to system operations* Responsibilities may include Department of Transportation (DOT) covered functions, including operations, maintenance, or emergency response on a pipeline. Job duties also require the employee to be alert and respond immediately to dangerous or hazardous conditions, and where impaired performance, or failure to follow safety precautions, could result in serious injury or property damage.* Experience with pipeline control functions, computer programs, and equipment applicable to pipeline system control operations* Experience monitoring pressures, volumes, and control points to maintain adequate gas or natural gas liquid flow* Experience with and thorough knowledge of natural gas or natural gas liquid pipeline operations* Experience in use and function of office equipment applicable to position including computers* Experience and/or training related to:
+ Basic programming/computer applications and hardware/SCADA systems
+ Company and governmental operating/safety procedures
+ Weather forecasting* Experience compiling and preparing reports, logs, and correspondence* Experience interacting, advising, training and communicating effectively* Ability to: apply basic mathematics, including use of decimals and percentages* Ability to: verbalize information or instructions utilizing telephone and two-way radios* Standing: Remaining on one's feet in an upright position at a work station without moving about (Occasionally)* Walking: Moving about on foot (Frequently)* Sitting: Remaining in a seated position (Constantly)* Lifting: Raising or lowering an object from one level to another (includes upward pulling) (Occasionally)* Carrying: Transporting an object, usually holding it in the hands or arms, or on the shoulder (Occasionally)* Pushing: Exerting force upon an object so that the object moves away from the force (Occasionally)* Pulling: Exerting force upon an object so that the object moves toward the force (includes jerking) (Occasionally)* Climbing: Ladders, Stairs (Occasionally)* Balancing: Maintaining body equilibrium to prevent falling (Occasionally)* Stooping: Bending the body downward and forward by bending the spine at the waist (Occasionally)* Kneeling: Bending the legs at the knees to come to rest on the knee or knees (Occasionally)* Crouching: Bending the body downward and forward by bending the legs and spine (Occasionally)* Crawling: Moving about on the hands and arms in any direction (Occasionally)* Reaching: Extending hands and arms in any direction (Constantly)* Handling: Seizing, holding, grasping, turning or otherwise working with the hand or hands (Manual Dexterity) (Constantly)* Fingering: Picking, pinching or otherwise working with the fingers primarily (Finger Dexterity) (Constantly)* Feeling: Perceiving such attributes of objects/materials as size, shape, temperature, texture, movement or pulsation by receptors in the skin, particularly those of the finger tips (Constantly)* Talking: Expressing or exchanging ideas/information by means of the spoken word (Frequently)* Hearing: Perceiving the nature of sound by the ear (Frequently)* Tasting/Smelling: (Occasionally)* Near Vision: Clarity of vision at 20 inches or less (Constantly)* Far Vision: Clarity of vision at 20 feet for more (Frequently)* Depth Perception: Three-dimensional vision; ability to judge distances and spatial relationships so as to see objects where and as they actually are (Frequently)* Vision: Color - The ability to identify and distinguish colors (Constantly) #J-18808-Ljbffr
