Compactor Mechanic - $28-38/hr DOE | Day Shift | Full-Time | Denver, CO
Skilled with tools and ready to keep equipment running smoothly? If you've worked as a Compactor Mechanic, Industrial Maintenance Tech, Field Service Mechanic, or Maintenance Technician - this is your opportunity to join a stable, full‑time team supporting compactor systems across the Denver area. This role offers consistent hours, hands‑on field service work, and the chance to troubleshoot and repair a wide variety of mechanical systems.
Key Responsibilities
Perform routine maintenance and repairs on compactor machinery, including hydraulics and electrical components
Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues to implement effective solutions
Utilize precision measuring instruments to ensure accurate repairs and adjustments
Conduct field service calls (75‑95% on‑site work) to support customer needs
Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to safety protocols
Collaborate with team members to improve processes and enhance service delivery
Communicate effectively with production staff regarding repairs and maintenance
What We're Looking For
3+ years of experience in mechanical or industrial maintenance (field service experience preferred, but not required)
Proficiency in hydraulics, electrical systems, HVAC/R, industrial mechanics, and welding
Strong understanding of low voltage systems and their applications
Ability to use precision measuring instruments accurately
Excellent problem‑solving skills with a focus on equipment efficiency
Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (you'll be driving our service truck to customer sites)
Commitment to delivering high‑quality workmanship and customer satisfaction
