Youth ACT Program Assistant (Administrative Assistant)
Location: US-NY-Syracuse
Overview Be a part of a ground-breaking new program! Join Helio Health’s Youth Assertive Community Treatment (YACT) Team (formerly Circare), serving families and youth in Onondaga County. This multi-disciplinary team will work with children ages 10 to 21 and their families to provide intensive intervention to support complex needs, as well as keeping children at risk of hospitalization or residential care in their homes.
Helio Health is seeking a Youth ACT Program Assistant (Administrative Assistant), who will be central to Helio Health’s Youth ACT Team, providing office coordination and assistance to the 9-person team, as well as assisting in adapting this program to the unique needs of the clients we serve. The position is full-time, during regular business hours, Monday through Friday with some flexibility. Helio Health is looking for a candidate who is committed to supporting children with complex mental health needs and their families. Additionally, Helio Health is looking for a candidate who has a commitment to maintaining an open-minded perspective while working with a multidisciplinary team.
Pay Range: $24.00/hr. to $26.00/hr.
This position is eligible for a $1,500 Sign On Incentive!
Responsibilities
Assist with managing Youth ACT medical records
Assist with managing data tracking and clinical records
Operate and coordinate the Youth ACT management information system
Perform reception activities (e.g., triaging calls and coordinating communication between Youth ACT staff and recipients)
Assist in creating the daily team schedule
Provide non-clinical telehealth support to Youth ACT clients and their families
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED required.
Experience in a behavioral health and/or medical setting, or related human service field
At least 2 years of experience in office management duties
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proficiency in Excel and other Microsoft products
Experience using electronic health record programs
