We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Floor Tech to join our skilled nursing team. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in creating a clean, safe, and comfortable environment and enjoys leading by example. You’ll play a key part in ensuring our residents, families, and staff experience a facility that is well-maintained, sanitary, and inviting.

What You’ll Do
Perform and oversee daily cleaning tasks to maintain a sanitary, orderly, and attractive facility
Clean and disinfect resident rooms, restrooms, offices, lounges, therapy areas, entrances, and common spaces
Maintain floors through sweeping, mopping, waxing, buffing, and carpet cleaning
Ensure proper setup of safety signage and follow infection-prevention protocols
Keep work areas, equipment, and supplies clean, organized, and properly stored
Maintenance & Facility Support
Complete light maintenance tasks such as replacing bulbs, cleaning vents, and checking equipment
Assist with minor repairs and upkeep of resident equipment (wheelchairs, shower chairs, etc.)
Maintain exterior areas by sweeping entrances, cleaning outdoor furniture, and removing debris
Support room readiness for admissions and discharges
Monitor supply levels, manage inventory, and ensure proper use of cleaning products and equipment
What You Bring
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
At least one year of experience in housekeeping, maintenance, or environmental services (healthcare experience a plus)
Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
Ability to work independently and follow a structured schedule
A positive attitude and desire to support residents and staff
