Base pay range $125,000.00/yr - $140,000.00/yr

Finance Manager A mission‑driven organization is seeking an experienced Finance Manager to oversee financial operations, strengthen internal controls, and support organizational growth. This role is ideal for a collaborative, hands‑on finance leader who thrives in an environment centered on service, community impact, and operational excellence.

Nonprofit experience is required. Medical or healthcare industry experience is a strong plus.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee day‑to‑day finance operations, including AP/AR, payroll oversight, cash management, and general ledger maintenance

Lead month‑end and year‑end close processes, ensuring accuracy and timely reporting

Prepare financial statements, grant reports, dashboards, and board‑level financial summaries

Manage annual audit preparation and coordinate with external auditors

Develop, monitor, and adjust annual budgets in partnership with leadership and department heads

Implement and maintain financial policies, procedures, and internal controls

Support grant management, including tracking restricted funds and ensuring compliance with federal/state guidelines

Analyze financial performance, identify trends, and support strategic decision‑making

Collaborate cross‑functionally with program, HR, and operations teams to support financial best practices

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or MBA a plus)

3–7+ years of nonprofit finance/accounting experience — required

Experience working with grants, restricted funding, and compliance frameworks

Healthcare or medical industry financial experience — strong plus

Strong understanding of GAAP and nonprofit accounting standards (FASB, Uniform Guidance)

Proficiency with accounting systems (e.g., QuickBooks, MIP Fund Accounting, Sage Intacct)

Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical capabilities

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work both strategically and hands‑on in a collaborative environment
