Financial Analyst – Oswego, IL
Radiac Abrasives, Inc., a leading manufacturer of conventional bonded and super abrasives, is looking for a Financial Analyst to join our Oswego team. For more than 100 years, Radiac has delivered industry‑leading technology and quality products and service to the metal finishing industry. Radiac is a TYROLIT Company that is owned by the Swarovski Group headquartered in Schwaz, Austria.
Annual Salary Range: $105,000 – $125,000.

Basic Function The Financial Analyst assists with the company’s financial forecast, annual budgeting process, operating plan variance analysis, and special projects. Provides financial information and support to senior management, preparing board and financial presentations, capital expenditure analysis, industry/peer group comparisons, and other projects requested by senior management. Acts as the analytical engine of the company to provide insights and support optimal business decision making.
Position Responsibilities
Analyze current and past trends in key performance indicators including revenue, cost of sales, expenses, and capital expenditures.
Monitor performance indicators, highlighting trends and analyzing causes of unexpected variance.
Assist with the development of budgeting, financial forecasting, operating plan, and modeling tools.
Ad‑hoc reporting and analysis.
Monthly and quarterly financial reports.
Implement and work with a business intelligence tool and dashboard reports; experience in SAP and Business Warehouse a plus.
Improve performance by evaluating processes to drive efficiencies and understanding ROI in marketing programs, menu pricing, new store rollouts, and new projects.
Develop financial models and analyses to support strategic initiatives.
Provide accurate and timely financial recommendations for management decision making.
Support senior management team and department heads with in‑depth analysis.
Support all areas of the business including sales, operations and finance.
All other work assigned by manager.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
2+ years of experience in financial planning and analysis.
Experience in multi‑plant preferred.
Advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills.
Highest standards of accuracy and precision; highly organized.
Articulate with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to think creatively, highly driven and self‑motivated.
Demonstrated ability to roll up sleeves and work with team members in a hands‑on management style.
Essential Physical Requirements
20/20 vision required with or without correction.
Ability to use hands 100% of the workday.
