Pattern Engineer Pay Rate: $45.00/hour – $50.00/hour

Onsite: Beaverton, OR

Duration: 9 month assignment

Description: The nature of the work is focused on research and development of products from conception to retail to meet the needs of accounts and consumers. Collaborates with Marketing/Design to interpret design concept into 2- dimensional patterns. Consults with product triad to clarify concepts and lend pattern-making and fit technical expertise. Creates first models from concept pictures. Incorporates styling and fit changes determined by design/marketing/development during fit sessions or design process. Inspects and critiques samples. Creates and/or revises product specifications with construction details for production. Ensures specifications detail construction methods that optimizes profitability.

Notes: FTE leave coverage for Women’s Golf and will provide support in tennis. Looking for a Seasoned Technical Designer for pattern making and adjustments.

Portfolios: Shows their experience and pattern knowledge, examples of previous relevant work, speaks to the complexity of their pattern design work.

Must Have:

5+ YOE as a Technical designer in pattern making or adjusting patterns, can start from scratch or adjust existing patterns for women’s athletic wear.

Role is potentially athlete facing, can do functional work and be representative the brand.

Knowledge of garment construction for knits - knowledge of wovens could work as well, but knits is preferred.

Nice to Have:

Performance wear experience.

Outerwear experience, dresses and skirts.

PDM, PCX, PLM, Web based to add comments on changes - record keeping tools.
