Job Summary We are seeking a dependable and safety-focused Warehouse Associate to support daily operations in our steel warehouse. This position plays a key role in handling, storing, and distributing steel products while maintaining strict safety and quality standards. The ideal candidate is physically capable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in an industrial environment.
Schedule
Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM
Occasional overtime as needed
Key Responsibilities
Receive, inspect, and verify incoming steel materials and shipments
Load, unload, move, and stage steel products using forklifts, cranes, pallet jacks, or other material‑handling equipment
Pick, band, and prepare steel orders for delivery or customer pickup
Accurately label, measure, and identify steel materials per job or order specifications
Assist with inventory control, cycle counts, and material tracking
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment
Follow all OSHA regulations and company safety procedures, including proper use of PPE
Work closely with warehouse, production, and shipping teams to meet deadlines
Perform additional warehouse or yard duties as assigned
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Prior warehouse, manufacturing, or steel industry experience preferred
Forklift and/or overhead crane experience a plus (training may be provided)
Ability to lift heavy materials and work on your feet for extended periods
Comfortable working in an industrial environment with steel materials
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
Reliable, punctual, and willing to work occasional overtime
