The purpose of the Warehouse Day - (Guard Shack) position is to monitor shipping/receiving access control and ensure the safety of all Ben E. Keith personnel to maintain a secure work environment.
Review all relevant logs and documentation to ensure daily activities are completed in a timely manner.
Communicate with all relevant personnel to fulfill duties accurately and efficiently.
Support appropriate security procedures to ensure a safe work environment for all BEK personnel.
Perform additional administrative and operational tasks as needed.
Job Qualifications
3 months of work-related experience required; or combination of education and experience
Food service industry experience preferred
Knowledge of OSHA safety guidelines helpful
Ability to read and interpret rules/guidelines, operating and maintenance instructions
Basic data entry (10-key by touch) skills
Ability to learn and use relevant internal applications
Basic math skills, as well as ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs
Able to work in extreme temperatures (cold and hot)
Ability to follow instructions
Self-starter with ability to multi-task
Excellent organization skills
Ability to work in fast-paced environment
Strong attention to detail
Good problem-solving skills
High School Diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.)
