Field Service & Sales Technician
to join our team. This hybrid role blends hands‑on technical field support with customer service and sales engagement. The ideal candidate will have a strong mechanical aptitude, a customer‑first mindset, and a desire to drive business success.
What You’ll Do:
Support the preparation and delivery of RCD (Rotating Control Device) equipment for field deployment.
Deliver and install RCD systems on‑site, ensuring accurate documentation of serial and asset numbers.
Conduct equipment checks, inventory assessments, and ticket verification at the wellsite.
Provide training to rig crews on RCD operations, installation of sealing elements, and routine maintenance.
Troubleshoot and repair pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
Serve as a technical resource for customer inquiries and on‑site challenges.
Prepare incident reports and provide timely feedback following service calls or equipment issues.
Collaborate with the sales team to identify client needs and promote additional products and services.
Demonstrate new technologies or system upgrades to potential and existing clients.
Occasionally work as a pressure‑control operator on MPD (Managed Pressure Drilling) operations.
What You Bring:
High School Diploma or equivalent
3+ years of hands‑on technical experience in oilfield services
Strong working knowledge of RCDs, pressure control systems, and MPD software
Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex systems to clients and crew members
Proven ability to build rapport with customers and identify upselling opportunities
Strong problem‑solving skills with a proactive, safety‑focused attitude
Ability to travel and work in various field environments, including exposure to extreme weather conditions
Physical Requirements:
Able to lift up to 45 pounds and perform physical tasks as needed on job sites
Able to stand, walk, reach, and use hands frequently
Comfortable working in office and outdoor field environments, including adverse weather conditions
