Our client is currently seeking a LVN transportation nurse around Lincoln/Roseville areas!
Position: Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) – Transportation Nurse
Location: Greater Roseville, CA area
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:40 AM – 9:00 AM
Position Overview This school district is seeking Licensed Vocational Nurses to support its summer program. This role focuses on student health and wellness, with an emphasis on early detection, prevention, and support for students with special needs.
Key Responsibilities
Assess and evaluate student health and development to support educational planning
Collect and interpret health histories for special education candidates
Develop and implement Individual Health Care Plans (IHPs)
Participate in special education placement committees
Support health curriculum development and serve as a resource for classroom instruction
Provide health counseling to students,, and school staff
Coordinate referrals to community health services
Conduct mandated health screenings and follow-up with families
Administer and supervise medication in compliance with state regulations
Maintain health supplies and equipment at school sites
Provide first aid and emergency care, including documentation and family communication
Collaborate with school principals and staff across assigned sites
Requirements
Current California LVN License
Valid CPR/BLS Certification
