Available Contract Locations We are hiring RNs in: Northern & Southern CA
Responsibilities
Perform RN-level patient assessments and document findings
Administer medications, treatments, and wound care per provider orders
Respond promptly to medical emergencies within the correctional setting
Monitor chronic conditions and support continuity of care
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation according to facility protocols
Collaborate with custody staff and interdisciplinary medical teams
Maintain safety, professionalism, and therapeutic boundaries at all times
Provide patient education and health promotion as appropriate
Qualifications
Active California RN license
Current BLS/CPR certification
Recent TB test or chest X‑ray
Experience with EMR/EHR charting
Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, corrections‑based environment
Strong clinical judgment and prioritization skills
Compassionate, ethical, and professional patient care approach
Excellent written and verbal communication
