We are seeking a detail-oriented and safety-focused individual to join our team as a 2nd Shift First Aid & Safety Technician. This role is responsible for ensuring the health, safety, and well-being of employees, maintaining compliance with safety programs, and supporting facility operations through equipment inspections, recordkeeping, and employee support. The ideal candidate is proactive, dependable, and comfortable balancing hands‑on safety tasks with administrative responsibilities.
Schedule: 2nd Shift position (2p‑10:30p)
Hourly pay is $19 to $24 range, depending on experience/knowledge
Key Responsibilities
Exhibit superior safety practices every day always evidenced by outstanding housekeeping.
Extend treatment to all other employees of the Company as individuals with the courtesy and dignity shown to customers.
Exceed customer quality and service expectations through attention to detail.
Exercise maximum care to protect the environment by fostering and supporting responsible operating procedures.
Provide first aid to injured employees, determine need for outside medical attention, complete accident reports, and maintain accurate documentation.
Perform preventive maintenance (PM) inspections and documentation
Support new hire onboarding by adding information to databases and assigning PPE, lockers, etc..
Manage inventory and ordering of safety equipment and PPE, including helmets, boots, first aid cabinet supplies, and seasonal PPE.
Issue boots to employees, complete associated paperwork, and update databases.
Maintain records of CPR, First Aid, AED, and related certifications; stay current on first responder training.
Enter and manage requisitions for approximately 120+ safety supply items, ensuring accurate tracking, stocking, and organization.
Order and stock seasonal employee supplies (freeze pops, drink mixes, cold‑weather PPE).
Serve as the point of contact for employee concerns, questions, and off‑shift problem solving.

What We Need From You
Previous experience in safety, first aid, or emergency response preferred.
Current CPR/First Aid/AED certification (or ability to obtain).
Strong organizational and recordkeeping skills.
Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and prioritize tasks.
