Job Title: Facilities Maintenance Technician
Job Description
The maintenance engineer will be responsible for completing basic work orders and repairs throughout the facility. Duties include painting, drywall repair, installing and repairing light fixtures, minor electrical and plumbing work, and moving furniture. The role also involves assisting with cleaning and unloading donation trucks. The successful candidate must be a team player, willing to help wherever needed, and tools will be provided.
Responsibilities
Complete basic work orders and repairs throughout the facility.
Perform painting and drywall repair tasks.
Install and repair light fixtures.
Conduct minor electrical and plumbing work.
Assist with moving furniture.
Help with cleaning and unloading donation trucks.
Essential Skills
1+ year of maintenance or handyman experience.
Ability to troubleshoot and perform general labor tasks.
Proficiency in carpentry and maintenance techniques.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Motivated and willing to help in multiple areas.
Basic knowledge of each trade is preferred.
A team-oriented mindset with a willingness to assist wherever needed.

Work Environment The position is based in an office building environment but will also require work outdoors. Responsibilities include completing work orders, cleaning, painting, and performing physical labor. The candidate should be comfortable with yard work, including cleanup and mowing. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM, and will transition to 8 AM to 5 PM after summer. Employees will not be on‑call during the contract period.
Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of San Antonio, Texas.
Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
