This Opportunity
WSP is currently initiating a search for a Full-Time Senior Construction Inspector (UDOT CITP Level III)
for our Salt Lake City
office for projects based in Utah focused on Southern Utah UDOT Region 4. Be involved in projects with our Construction Management Team
and be a part of a growing organization that meets our client’s objectives and solves their challenges.
Your Impact
Read and interpret project plans and specifications
Monitor construction for compliance with project documents
Measure, calculate, and document quantities of installed materials in accordance with client policies and procedures
Prepare daily work reports; prepare and maintain documentation of contractor work performed, materials testing and traffic control based on construction plans and specifications; using Masterworks, spreadsheets, and other electronic or manual means
Inspect road and bridge construction (based on UDOT Standards)
For senior inspector positions, ability to supervise 1-2 people and experience with UDOT documentation
Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources and conduct, and adhere to WSP’s Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures.
Perform additional responsibilities as required by business needs.
Who You Are Required Qualifications
High School Diploma and a minimum of 7 years of construction experience
UDOT Masterworks Trained
UDOT CITP Level IIIACI Level I or Level II Concrete Certification
Experience on UDOT projects
Valid Utah driver’s license.
Preferred Qualifications
Bituminous Paving Experience
Concrete Paving Experience
Direct experience working for UDOT or another firm with UDOT exposure
ATTSA Traffic Control Certification, Sampling Reduction & Density (SRDTT), Moisture/Density Gauge Certification, ACI or CTT Concrete Certification or the ability to become certificated within 1 month of hire
