The Alaska Native Tribal Health Consortium is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to join our Walk in Clinic team at the Alaska Native Medical Center (ANMC), an award-winning Level II Trauma Center. With over 30 medical specialties, ANMC serves as the tertiary referral center for Alaska Native and American Indian people across the state. Our unique patient population, breathtaking geography and cohesive team make this a one-of-a-kind practice opportunity!
The Walk in Clinic is open 365 days per year. We see approximately 50‑80 patients per day, 12‑20 per provider. Responsibilities include completing comprehensive histories and physical exams; ordering and interpreting tests; prescribing medications; developing treatment plans; and educating patients/families on treatment options. Required procedures include I&D's, sutures, wound care, and splinting.
We are seeking full‑time providers.
Work Schedule: Full Time 40‑hour work week. Full‑time staff work 2–8's and 2–12's per week OR 6–12's and 1–8 per pay period.

Qualifications: Degreed Nurse Practitioner; Certification by an approved national certifying body; Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) Certification; State of Alaska Nurse Practitioner License. Preferred: 2 years’ post‑graduate experience as an NP managing family medicine outpatients; genuine interest in primary care medicine, astute clinical skills; superior communication and relationship building skills; flexible team player; culturally sensitive.
