The Ultrasound Technician performs a variety of specialized technical tasks utilizing high frequency ultrasound waves to assist with the detection of medical conditions or abnormalities by producing images of the inside of a patient’s body.

Minimum Requirements

A certification from an accredited ultrasound school

One year of experience as an ultrasound technician preferred.

Current CPR if applicable

TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable

Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)

Must meet all federal, state and local requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age

Ultrasound Tech – General Radiology / Cardiology Location: Oakland, CA

Start Date: January 26, 2026

Contract Length: 13 Weeks

Shift: Days | 5x8s | 08:00–17:00

Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Ultrasound Technologist to join a high‑performing hospital team in Oakland, CA. This role covers General Radiology and Cardiology, with a strong emphasis on Vascular Ultrasound. OB scanning is light at this site, with more OB coverage handled at the Summit campus.

$1,280 taxable income

$1,659 stipends

1+ year full‑time hospital Ultrasound Tech experience

EPIC charting experience

Schedule

Monday–Friday

Weekends as needed
