Position Details Join our Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health team! The pay for this position starts at $20.50/hour, with additional compensation added for higher education and/or years of relevant experience up to $23.87/hour.
Schedules
Monday, Thursday & Friday; 3p-11p and Double Saturday (7am-11pm)
Wednesday - Friday; 3pm - 11pm & Double on Saturday (7am - 11pm)
Sunday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday & Saturday; 3p-11p
This position is located in Fitchburg, MA.
$1,000 Sign-on Bonus
Additional $250 Bonus if MAP Certified
Devereux’s Cathy House program serves co‑ed individuals aged 5 to 12 with ASD and IDD, most of whom are non‑verbal. With a 1:2 staff to students ratio, this program offers a high level of individualized care. The program goal is to teach, coach, and support our individuals to learn daily living skills, coping skills, and social skills while staying active and having fun.
Responsibilities
Be passionate about working with and helping youth.
Be responsible for the safety and security of all youth as assigned by providing direct supervision.
Provide and ensure therapeutic interventions in a compassionate and safe environment.
Engage with youth in a meaningful and positive manner, teaching and prompting appropriate behaviors, and providing positive reinforcement for the same.
Teach and assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADL) Living Skills.
Possess adequate organizational and communication skills needed to complete required documentation, such as progress notes and incident reports.

Qualifications
Must be 21 years of age or older.
Valid driver's license required.
High School diploma or GED required. Bachelor's degree in related field preferred.
Previous experience working with individuals under 21 with psychological, emotional, and behavioral disorders, and/or autism spectrum disorders preferred.
Must be able to attend a 2-week paid orientation, Monday to Friday, 8AM to 4PM, in Rutland, MA.
Must be MAPS certified, or able to obtain certification within 90 days of employment.
