Veterinary Radiologist – Thrive Pet Healthcare
South Carolina Veterinary Specialists & Emergency Care in Columbia, SC is seeking a Board‑Certified or residency‑trained Veterinary Radiologist to join a busy emergency and specialty hospital offering extensive diagnostic services including CT, MRI, and an onsite reference laboratory. The facility is VECCS Level II & AAHA Accredited and provides a collaborative, patient‑focused work environment.
Key Responsibilities
Apply board‑certified radiology expertise to a high‑acuity emergency and specialty patient population.
Interpret diagnostic imaging and communicate findings to the treating veterinary team.
Participate in a multidisciplinary care team, contributing to clinical decision‑making.
Maintain imaging equipment, prepare protocols, and support diagnostic workflow.
Assist in training and mentorship of veterinary staff and residents.
Experience & Skills Requirements
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) or equivalent degree.
State Veterinary Board license in good standing for the state of employment.
Active DEA license or eligibility for licensure.
Board‑Certified or residency‑trained Veterinary Radiologist.
