The Church of the Epiphany of the Lord is seeking a part‑time custodian to support weekend parish operations by maintaining a clean, welcoming, and safe environment for parishioners, visitors and staff during weekend Masses and events.
Position Summary Epiphany Parish is seeking a reliable and detail‑oriented Part‑Time Custodian to support weekend parish operations.
Location & Schedule Location: Church of the Epiphany, 7336 W Britton Rd, Oklahoma City, OK 73132
Primarily Sundays (3.5–8 hours per week)
Occasional Saturdays as needed
Some weekends may require up to 10 hours total
Flexibility is required based on Mass schedules and parish events
Key Responsibilities
Clean and maintain restrooms between Masses
Empty trash receptacles throughout the campus
Perform light vacuuming and spot cleaning in common areas
Restock cleaning and restroom supplies as needed
Assist with cleanup following parish events or special liturgies
Ensure all assigned areas are clean, sanitary, and presentable
Qualifications
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness
Ability to perform indoor/outdoor light physical tasks (standing, walking, bending, lifting 50lbs)
Reliability and punctuality are essential
Willingness to work a flexible weekend schedule
Respectful of a church environment and parish activities
Compensation
$20 per hour
