Orthodontic Clinician I
Join the Smile Doctors team as an Orthodontic Clinician I. We are committed to a people‑first culture and provide opportunities for growth.
Responsibilities:
Assist in placing and removing orthodontic appliances under the supervision of an Orthodontist.
Review patient charts, log data, and transcribe doctor notes.
Perform laboratory procedures.
Review remote monitoring dashboards, triage patient scans, and respond to patient messages.
Educate patients on orthodontic care and remote monitoring.
Clean, sterilize, and prepare equipment and operatory according to standard protocols.
Adhere to infection‑control policies and protocols.
Required skills and qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Industry experience preferred.
Dental Assistant certification if required by state.
Radiography certification if required.
CPR certification if required.
Ideal candidate traits:
Ability to build rapport with patients.
Maintain good relationships with patients and coworkers.
Use hand tools effectively.
Prioritize patient care, manage full schedules, and multitask.
