Description
Conduct detailed evaluations for patients in inpatient and outpatient environments, crafting tailored treatment plans to meet their unique needs.
Deliver hands‑on physical therapy interventions focusing on enhancing mobility, building strength, and improving overall functional abilities.
Work closely with a multidisciplinary team, including nurses, physicians, and case managers, to achieve optimal recovery outcomes.
Educate patients and their families about therapy objectives, home exercise regimens, and discharge processes.
Maintain accurate records of patient evaluations, treatments, and progress in accordance with established facility protocols.
Engage in team meetings and interdisciplinary rounds to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Education
Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited institution or equivalent.
Certifications
Current state license to practice as a
Physical Therapist .
CPR certification is highly desirable.
Additional specialized certifications (e.g., in geriatrics or neurological therapy) are welcomed.
Skills
Prior experience in a clinical setting strongly preferred.
Proficient in treating patients with diverse medical conditions and mobility challenges.
Strong collaboration and communication abilities.
Comfortable with electronic health records and clinical documentation practices.
