Medical City North Hills is a 165+ bed hospital located in the heart of northeast Tarrant County. Our mission is to serve, to care for, and to assist in the healing of patients and their families. We offer comprehensive services, including stroke care, spine and joint surgeries, cardiovascular services, cardiac rehabilitation, robotics, hyperbaric oxygen therapy, sports medicine, wound care, and outpatient rehabilitation.
Job Summary Our Medical Laboratory Scientist performs and demonstrates proficiency in one or more areas of the clinical laboratory. The commitment to service, safety, and professionalism is critical to achieving the best patient experience. This PRN role supports clinical laboratory operations in assigned sections.
Responsibilities
Perform chemical, bacteriological, serological, and microscopic procedures in one or more laboratory sections.
Maintain records of performance, patient results, and quality control.
Maintain equipment, record preventive and remedial maintenance.
Assist with laboratory training programs as required.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree required.
Certification as Medical Laboratory Scientist, Certified Medical Lab, Certified Lab Technologist, Clinical Laboratory Scientist, or American Medical Technologist required.
At least one year of experience in a hospital setting is preferred.
