Position: Aircraft Painter - East Alton, IL
Only qualified candidates with the below experience will be considered for this position.
Job Summary: Sand and prepare surfaces for paint, mix paint products and apply paint within the allocated man‑hour budgets and on schedule while maintaining quality standards and performing the tasks within the guidelines of all safety and regulatory regulations and requirements. Should be able to handle spot ins or blend paint into the original paint after small repairs have been made.
Job Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
3 years of related aircraft painting experience
Able to work from designs or verbal instructions
Able to use standard spray paint equipment: paint guns, sanding equipment, dual action orbital sander, and common hand tools
Able to repeatedly climb and descend scaffolds, ladders and other related equipment with or without reasonable accommodation
Must be able to wear a respirator and pass a pulmonary function test
Physical and muscular dexterity to stand or kneel for extended periods of time during painting, sanding or while working on aircraft
Must be able to lift and carry 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation
Must not be abnormally allergic to paint, paint stripper, solvents, primers or other paint‑related products that produce fumes or dust while using
Aviation Personnel currently offers:
.63 cents per mile up to $252.00 Travel Pay on your first check, Plus a $100.00 longevity Monthly bonus!
