Pay Range:
$42.00/hr - $48.00/hr

Key Responsibilities
Administer chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and other specialized infusion treatments safely and efficiently per established protocols.
Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans using the Nursing Process.
Monitor patient responses, manage side effects, and provide ongoing evaluation during and after infusions.
Deliver patient and family education regarding treatment plans, side effect management, and recovery care.
Serve as a clinical resource and preceptor for nursing staff, modeling best practices in oncology care.
Collaborate closely with oncologists, pharmacists, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless, coordinated care.
Maintain accurate documentation and uphold the highest clinical, safety, and regulatory standards (TJC, ONS).
Participate in performance improvement, research utilization, and shared governance initiatives.
Local travel may be required
to support multiple infusion sites within a 35-mile radius.
Key Requirements and Technology Experience
Key Skills;
Registered Nurse (RN), Oncology Infusion, Chemotherapy Competency, Outpatient Care
Education:
Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Nursing Diploma required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
Licensure:
Current RN License in Georgia or a Multi-State Compact License.
Certifications:
BLS Certification
(AHA or American Red Cross) required upon hire.
Chemotherapy Competency
through an approved provider (Oncology Nursing Society - ONS, or equivalent) is
highly preferred upon hire
and will be required.
Experience:
Minimum 2 years of direct patient care nursing experience required. Minimum 2 years of
outpatient oncology nursing experience
is strongly preferred. Prior chemotherapy administration experience is highly valued.
Skills:
Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and IV therapy skills.
Ability to handle hazardous drugs per USP guidelines.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills.
Proficiency with EMR systems and technology.
Ability to function effectively in stressful situations and manage multiple priorities.
