Job Overview The Electronics Assembler is responsible for complex and diversified assembly of electronic products, primarily thru-hole printed circuit boards (PCBs). This role requires intricate fitting, adjusting, and aligning of components within close tolerances, along with excellent hand-soldering skills. Assemblers fabricate products in part or whole by following established procedures, work orders, and quality standards in an ISO environment.
Job Specifications
Assemble and/or wire complex equipment using blueprints, models, and model prints
Perform thru-hole PCB assembly
Apply skilled fitting, adjusting, and aligning within close tolerances
Solder primarily thru-hole components to best commercial specifications
Follow work cell procedures and ISO quality standards
Set up and operate basic production machines such as component trim machines, AMP machines, and riveting machines
Build harness assemblies
Use hand and power tools as required
Utilize work order packages and online barcode reporting systems for labor and manufacturing quantities
Perform multiple operations on products within and outside the home department
Perform related duties as assigned by the Supervisor
Work overtime as required
Skills and Experience Required
Minimum 1–3 years of electronic assembly experience
Ability to read blueprints and schematics and identify components and color codes
Excellent soldering skills
Good verbal communication skills
