Are you a Metallurgist with experience in powder metallurgy and metals manufacturing, looking to step into a highly technical role where you’ll be the go-to engineering expert on the plant floor?
This is a rare opportunity to join a global industrial and automotive manufacturer during a key phase of growth. You’ll lead the development and industrialization of an in-house powder material mixing operation, becoming the technical authority for materials, metallurgy, and powder processing across the site.

This role is ideal for a senior-level Engineer / Metallurgist who wants long-term career progression in a technically complex manufacturing environment.
The Role:
Lead the development, optimization, and industrialization of powder metal alloy systems for high-performance valve seat applications
Design and commission an in-house powder material mixing work center, including equipment selection, layout, and material flow
Act as the technical authority for metals, metallurgy, and powder characteristics across the plant
Build, train, and mentor a materials and mixing operations team
Monday – Friday, 40-hour work week with strong work-life balance
The Person:
Engineer / Metallurgist with experience in powder metallurgy, metals, or industrial / automotive manufacturing
Experience industrializing or setting up material mixing or powder processing operations
Hands-on, structured engineer comfortable operating in a manufacturing environment
Motivated to be the go-to expert and technical leader on site
