Sheppard Pratt School in Glyndon is a leading provider of year-round special education and therapeutic services, catering to students grades K-12. Our comprehensive program serves students with a range of needs, including autism, emotional disability, intellectual disabilities, other health impairments, specific learning disability, and speech or language impairment. What to expect.

You will assess, develop, and

implement behavior support plans

for students with developmental disabilities and behavioral challenges.

Specific responsibilities include:

Developing and implementing

individualized intervention plans (BIPs) .

Conducting

functional behavior assessments (FBAs)

and ongoing assessments to monitor progress.

Providing

training and support to caregivers and staff

on behavior management techniques and intervention strategies.

Maintaining

accurate documentation

in accordance with regulatory requirements and best practices.

Pay for this position is determined on a number of factors, including but not limited to, education and years and level of related experience.

What we need from you.

Master’s degree in a related field of study.

Two years of behavior assessment and management experience.

For internal candidates: a bachelor’s degree plus 4 years of relevant experience (2 of which must be within SPHS) would be considered a substitute for a master’s degree.
