The Role We are looking for a skilled and reliable Painter & Decorator to join our team. You will be responsible for carrying out internal and external painting and decorating works in residential properties, ensuring a high-quality finish and excellent customer satisfaction. This is a hands‑on role suited to someone with strong attention to detail and pride in their workmanship.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare surfaces including filling, sanding, and priming
Carry out internal and external painting and decorating works
Ensure all finishes meet required quality and specification standards
Follow health and safety procedures and use PPE correctly
Maintain tools, equipment, and materials in good condition
Identify and report any additional property issues
Complete accurate job records and documentation
Communicate professionally with tenants, supervisors, and managers
Requirements
Proven experience as a Painter & Decorator
Good knowledge of materials, finishes, and preparation techniques
Understanding of health and safety regulations
Reliable, punctual, and hardworking
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Full UK driving licence
