The Position We're looking to hire a Senior Embedded Firmware Engineer to join our team. You'll work with our clients in one of two ways:
Team Augmentation: you will integrate directly into the client’s team and work alongside their existing designers and engineers daily.
Design & Build: you will work on a FullStack product team to build and deliver a product to our clients.
What We're Looking For
5+ years of professional experience as a Firmware or Embedded Systems Engineer.
Advanced English proficiency.
Successful completion of a four‑year college degree.
Strong hands‑on experience developing embedded firmware using C and C++.
Proven experience with ESP32 platforms, preferably ESP32‑C6.
Solid understanding of microcontroller architecture, memory management, interrupts, peripherals, and real‑time constraints.
Hands‑on experience with audio processing, audio streaming, or real‑time signal handling on embedded devices.
Experience optimizing firmware for low‑power consumption, performance, and reliability in constrained environments.
Experience taking embedded systems from prototype through production, including support for manufacturing bring‑up and field issues.
Comfort working closely with hardware teams through multiple board revisions, hardware debugging cycles, and manufacturing timelines.
Experience debugging hardware/software interactions using logic analyzers, oscilloscopes, and JTAG or SWD debuggers.>
Strong understanding of embedded development workflows, including code reviews, documentation, and testability.
Ability to work through new and difficult issues and contribute to libraries.
Ability to create and maintain continuous integration and delivery of applications.
Forensic attention to detail.
A positive mindset and a can‑do attitude.
Meaningful experience working on large, complex systems.
Extreme ownership over work; uphold performance expectations daily.
Consistent availability for 40 hours per week.
