Bookkeeper

This role is onsite in Vancouver, Washington.
Responsibilities
Manage full-cycle Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable across multiple legal entities
Maintain accurate general ledger activity, including journal entries, reconciliations, and monthly close
Perform daily check register data entry using bank deposit and check history across multiple bank accounts
Complete complex monthly bank reconciliations, including deposits, fees, deductions, and cash activity
Track inventory balances, prepaid expenses, and related allocations
Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation for audits and compliance
Prepare monthly financial statements for ownership review and external reporting
Analyze financial data to support insight into labor, cost, and operational drivers
Partner with leadership to ensure timely, accurate financial visibility across entities
Prepare and file payroll-related and excise tax reporting
Support third-party payroll processing, including data preparation, review, and reconciliation
Assist with payroll journal entries and reconciliation of payroll-related bank accounts
Support W-2 and 1099 reporting, payroll tax verification, and year-end compliance
Perform year-end general ledger reviews and post necessary corrections
Gather and organize year-end financial records and supporting documentation
Provide documentation to CPAs for tax preparation, including depreciation and amortization
Partner with external CPAs and auditors to support audits and annual filings
Qualifications
3+ years of full-cycle bookkeeping experience with strong debit and credit knowledge
Proven experience managing multi-entity accounting environments
Strong understanding of general ledger accounting, AP, AR, and payroll processes
Experience with complex bank reconciliations and financial reporting
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; QuickBooks experience strongly preferred
Highly detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities independently
Reliable, trustworthy professional seeking long-term stability in a small, collaborative office
Compensation $30/hr.
