Summary The Prewave Prep Associate collaborates directly with the team coordinator and department manager to produce qualify processes that meets or exceeds IPC standards. This position is key to company quality standards
Duties
Prep electronic components for printed circuit board following detailed instruction.
Inspect and quality check own work and the work of others; ensure that products meet all customer and regulatory requirements.
Communicate quality issues to the appropriate team and manager as needed.
Assist in other departments as needed and participate in controlled process improvement projects.
Education & Experience
High School Diploma, GED or Equivalent Experience
Solid understanding of common manufacturing processes, equipment operation, and basic electronic component identification and board handling (Printed Circuit Board Assembly).
Effectively manipulate small and/or fragile components and tools.
Ability to use visual aids, complicated drawings to verify quality products.
Speak, Read, Write in English for workplace safety.
Ability to do basic mental math and use computers
Preferred
Experience with PreWave processing
IPC 610 certification
Shift Multiple shifts - call for current availability!
Location Beaverton - most shifts are public transit accessible!
Pay $17-$19/hr depending on experience
