Job Title
Level 3 - Warehouse Associate
Job Overview Position is a member of the location warehouse team responsible for order pulling, inbound receiving, housekeeping, and other warehouse tasks. Role requires excellent communication skills, sense of urgency, and consistent timely follow‑up. 50% order selecting, put away and scanning; 40% housekeeping; 10% other warehouse tasks. Keen sense of safety and adherence to all safety rules and regulations. Equipment operation includes reach truck certified and pallet jack. Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities.
Must Provide Steel toe shoes are required. Dress code: jeans (no rips/tears, etc.) and hoodless sweatshirt recommended. Cargill will provide necessary cold weather gear (coat, hat, gloves).
Location & Schedule 100% onsite in a cold environment. Candidate must be able to work consistently at 32 °F / 0 °C temperatures.
Start Date: ASAP
Assignment Length: 90 days (not temp‑to‑hire but potential for conversion after 3 months)
Pay Rate: BR/hr
Schedule: Training M‑F 8 am to duration usually 5 pm, occasionally later.
Normal schedule after training: Sunday 7 am to approx. 5 pm; Monday‑Thursday 3 pm to shift end. OT as needed.
Expectation to work until the tasks are completed for the day rather than hard‑stop end time. For example, if 5 pm comes and there is still work to be completed, Cargill expects worker to sometimes stay to complete required daily tasks.
Requirements
Standup forklift experience (preferred)
Ability to lift up to 100 lbs unassisted
Must be able to work in a cold environment consistently.
Minimum HS education or equivalent
Motivation for long‑term continued employment (highly preferred – please phone screen your candidates!).
Onboarding
Background screen required
Drug test required
Complete medical questionnaire
Interviews / Candidate Selection Top candidate(s) will be asked to come onsite for a facility tour prior to an offer being extended.
