Overview We are seeking a Civil Engineer EIT to join our team focused on Civil Site Land Development. This role involves comprehensive Civil Site Design, including proficiency in AutoCAD, grading, site plans, and site development. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to interact with clients and lead or mentor entry‑level engineers. The focus will be on transforming raw land into usable sites for residential, commercial, industrial, or mixed‑use projects, managing site layouts, grading plans, stormwater management, utility coordination, and ensuring compliance with zoning and environmental regulations.
Responsibilities
Design and draft site layouts using AutoCAD Civil 3D for grading plans, utility layouts, and roadway designs.
Prepare erosion and sediment control plans.
Perform stormwater runoff calculations and design detention ponds, culverts, and storm sewer networks.
Ensure compliance with local stormwater regulations.
Prepare hydrology reports and drainage studies for municipal approval.
Coordinate with local jurisdictions to obtain water and sewer permits.
Essential Skills
4+ years of experience in Civil Engineering with a focus on Land Development.
EIT certification with potential to achieve PE within 1 or 2 years.
Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D.
Experience with Hydroflow for hydrologic and hydraulic analysis.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience in designing site layouts, grading, stormwater management, and utility coordination.
Understanding of permitting processes and compliance with zoning and environmental regulations.
Experience with HEC‑RAS.

Job Type & Location Contract to Hire position based out of Kennesaw, GA.
Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $38.00 - $45.00/hr.
