What you’ll be doing As a Dispensing Assistant in a warehouse, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring our pharmacy branches and patients receive safe, timely, and accurate deliveries of medication. Working as part of our warehouse team, you will:
Accurately pick, pack, and label medication and other pharmacy products in line with prescriptions and delivery requirements.
Support the efficient flow of goods in and out of the warehouse to maintain high service levels.
Help manage stock rotation and inventory levels, highlighting shortages and ensuring products are stored safely and securely.
Assist with general warehouse duties including receiving deliveries, stock checks, and maintaining a clean and well‑organised workspace.
Follow company procedures and comply with all health, safety, and legal standards to ensure the safe handling of medicines.
What we’re looking for
A strong work ethic and attention to detail.
Previous experience in a warehouse, dispensing, or stock‑handling role (desirable).
NVQ Level 2 in Pharmacy Services or similar qualification (preferred but not essential – training can be provided).
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Reliability, flexibility, and a commitment to high standards.
