About the Role

Addison Group is seeking an experienced

Medical Biller

for our client in the healthcare industry. This position is ideal for someone with strong surgical billing expertise and a solid understanding of medical coding and insurance processes. Key Responsibilities

Prepare and submit medical claims to insurance carriers using accurate coding (DRG, CPT, ICD-9, ICD-10). Review patient records for completeness and accuracy prior to billing. Manage accounts receivable by following up on unpaid claims and handling collections when necessary. Maintain organized and compliant medical records while ensuring patient confidentiality. Utilize EMR/EHR systems to accurately document billing information. Communicate with providers and insurance companies to resolve claim discrepancies. Stay current on billing regulations and coding updates to maintain compliance. Qualifications

Minimum of 3 years of recent medical billing experience. Surgical billing experience is

required . Strong knowledge of DRG, CPT, ICD-9, ICD-10 coding systems. Familiarity with EMR/EHR platforms; experience with Lytec is a plus. Solid understanding of medical terminology and healthcare procedures. Schedule & Requirements

Monday–Thursday: 9:00 AM–5:00 PM Friday: 9:00 AM–4:00 PM On‑site position; remote work is

not
