This is a Part‑time, on‑site Controller position located in Mount Dora, FL. The Controller will work together with the CFO to oversee financial operations, including budget preparation, financial reporting, and ensuring compliance with industry regulations. This role involves managing accounting functions, supervising financial staff, conducting audits, preparing tax documentation, and optimizing financial performance. The Controller will collaborate with senior management to develop and execute financial strategies, aiding decision‑making to drive the company’s growth and success in the construction sector. Qualifications
Strong understanding of financial reporting, budgeting, and cash flow management in commercial construction. Proficiency in accounting practices, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, and Accounts Receivable. Experience with financial software and tools used in accounting and management. Knowledge of construction accounting principles and relevant compliance regulations. Excellent leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills. Ability to analyze financial data to provide actionable insights and identify trends. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA designation preferred). Experience in the construction or related industry is highly desirable. Seniority level: Mid‑Senior level. Employment type: Part‑time.
