What You’ll Do
Perform computer-aided drafting and design for life safety and security systems in advanced facilities.
Utilize AutoCAD and Revit MEP to create and coordinate 3D BIM models with architects and engineers.
Assist in developing layouts for Fire Alarm Detection Systems, HPM leak detection, Toxic Gas Management Systems, and Security/Intrusion Detection Systems.
Ensure designs meet industry standards and client requirements, delivering accurate, constructible solutions.
What We’re Looking For
Proven experience in drafting and BIM design, ideally in life safety systems.
Proficiency with AutoCAD and Revit MEP.
Strong attention to detail and ability to collaborate across disciplines.
Requirements
High school graduate or equivalent.
At least 10 years of AutoCAD experience.
Preferred Experience
3–5 years of Revit design experience.
Knowledge of IFC, IBC, NFPA 70, NFPA 101 Life Safety Code, and NFPA 72 Fire Alarm and Signaling Code.
Knowledge of Fire/Life Safety systems and manufacturer equipment.
Industrial design experience.
Autodesk Certified Professional (ACP) or other drafting technologies certifications.
