Job Description Salary Range: $112,413- $138,863

Major Job Duties:
As a key member of Weber Metals your duties include but are not limited to:
Demonstrate importance of the Weber Metals Safety Policy to the success of Weber Metals.
Demonstrate importance of the Weber Metals Quality Policy to the success of Weber Metals.
Demonstrate knowledge and awareness of the Weber Metals Environmental Policy.
Demonstrate knowledge and awareness of the Weber Metals Business Management System.
Support compliance on environmental and safety issues.
Demonstrate multi-tasking capabilities.
Knowledge of environmental rules and regulations.
Adhere to and follow Company policies and safety regulations.
Design and implement machine controls systems for automation equipment.
PLC programming, Motion Control programming, and HMI programming at machine control level.
Create electrical designs, schematics, programs, and other related software applications for automation equipment.
Configuration and commissioning of machines.
Collaborate with and support other engineers to ensure successful design integration and functionality.
Support for troubleshooting electrical problems with all plant equipment including presses, furnaces, manipulators & cranes.
Manage program and schematic history.
Improve performance and reduce downtime on presses, furnaces, manipulators, and CNC machines through control system optimization.
Responsible to participate in team related activities, as well as ISO Auditing as requested.
Assist with implementation of annual shutdowns for maintenance purposes which may include to work during weekends and holidays.
Document and maintain specifications for new equipment.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Must be able to comply with ITAR and EAR residency requirements
Proficient in Siemens and Allen Bradley PLC software programming and troubleshooting. Experience with WinCC, TIA Portal, FactoryTalk View and Studio 500 & 5000
Experience with Siemens Allen Bradley motion controllers
Experience working with AutoCAD and developing control schematics
Experience with a variety of mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic devices commonly used in automation (e.g. ball screws, gear boxes, servo motors, sensors, regulators, solenoids, etc.)
Familiar with CE, UL, NEC, IEC 60204-1, NFPA 79, ISO 13849-1, IEC 62061 and other related regulatory standards on electrical design and safety
Familiar with PackML, Grafcet (SFC), and other related programming methodologies for automation equipment
Education/Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering
Minimum 5 years of experience working in the field of manufacturing automation or similar
Preferred experience in SCADA systems/historians, OSI Pi historian, SQL server
