Equipment Maintenance Technician – Bridgeview, IL
LGH is a leading rental equipment company focused on hoisting and rigging solutions. We are seeking a qualified Equipment Maintenance Technician to contribute to the reliability and safety of our equipment fleet in Bridgeview, IL.
Responsibilities
Drive company vehicles to safely transport rental orders in a timely manner.
Prepare rental equipment orders and conduct inspections to ensure compliance with quality standards.
Disassemble, troubleshoot, repair, reassemble, and test various types of electrical, hand‑operated, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment.
Perform routine preventive maintenance on rental equipment.
Operate forklift to load and unload delivery vehicles and transport equipment within the warehouse as part of daily operations.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Commercial driving experience required.
Mechanical background or aptitude strongly desired.
Prior warehouse/manufacturing or related work required.
Experience working on air hoists, come‑alongs, manual hoists, and electric hoists desired.
Prior forklift experience strongly preferred.
Certifications & Licenses
Valid Driver’s License with a good driving record required.
DOT certification required upon commencement of employment and must be maintained.
Employment is conditional upon the ability to meet insurance underwriting requirements.
Physical Requirements
Push/pull up to 50 lbs.
Lift/carry up to 55 lbs.
Hours & Location Hours: Monday – Friday 7:00 am – 3:30 pm (or 8:00 am – 4:30 pm). Location: Bridgeview, IL.
Pay & Benefits Minimum starting pay: $23.25 – $27.25 per hour. Full benefits package including medical, dental, vision, short‑term disability, basic life insurance, 401(k) with 5% company match, and comprehensive training.
Additional Information All employment offers are contingent upon the ability to pass the following: background check and hair follicle drug test. We are interested in qualified candidates who are legally authorized to work in the United States. We do not sponsor work visas.
