JDE Manufacturing Business Analyst – Worthington Enterprises
We’re seeking a JDE Manufacturing Business Analyst to join our corporate IT team. In this role, you’ll act as a critical link between our manufacturing operations, supply chain, and IT teams—helping to design, enhance, and support systems that power production, inventory, scheduling, and quality across Worthington’s plants.
This position is a hybrid role requiring at least 2 days per week on‑site at our Columbus, OH headquarters. Travel up to 25% may be required for on‑site support, training, and partnership with facilities. This position is not eligible for work visa sponsorship. Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future.
What You’ll Do
Partner with manufacturing and supply chain leaders to understand business requirements and translate them into system solutions that improve efficiency and reliability.
Provide functional and technical support for Oracle JD Edwards ERP, as well as related platforms such as MES, QMS, CRM, and reporting systems.
Configure, test, and deploy system enhancements—ensuring quality through robust documentation and user validation.
Collaborate across IT and business teams to support integration, data flow, and automation across platforms.
Participate in project planning and execution, managing priorities and communicating progress effectively.
Research emerging technologies (including AI and automation tools) to enhance system performance and user experience.
Develop documentation, process maps, and training materials that promote consistent use of enterprise systems.
Provide guidance and mentorship to peers, fostering a culture of shared learning and improvement.
What You’ll Bring
Education: Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Business, or related field.
Experience: 3–5 years in business analysis, enterprise application support, or ERP configuration (JD Edwards preferred).
Experience with at least one additional platform such as MES, QMS, CRM, or HCM.
Strong understanding of manufacturing processes—production planning, materials management, and inventory control.
Familiarity with system integrations, automation, and data flow management.
Working knowledge of SQL, Tableau, or low‑code tools is a plus.
Excellent communication, problem‑solving, and analytical skills.
Experience working in Agile or hybrid environments and understanding of SDLC and ITIL principles.
