Position Overview Flynn Panera is a franchisee of Panera Bread operating upscale cafes featuring baked breads, pastries, soups, salads, sandwiches, and specialty espresso beverages. The franchise is part of the Flynn Group, a large diversified restaurant operator. We offer a grease‑ and alcohol‑free work environment with no late nights, focused on morning hours.
Responsibilities
Serve as a role‑model and lead the team.
Ensure that team members provide great customer service.
Take ownership of the restaurant’s business performance.
Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy environment by following all safety and sanitation standards.
Run quality opening, mid‑and closing shifts ensuring a consistent positive customer experience.
Coordinate the entire operation of the restaurant during scheduled shifts.
Greet customers and perform table visits to ensure customer satisfaction.
Recruit, train, and motivate staff.
Assist the bakery‑cafe specialist, ensuring team members are properly trained and fully competent in all aspects of food service and customer support.
Ensure objectives are achieved while operating within all company guidelines, cultural values, and following ethical business practices.
Exhibit a professional image and promote the company’s values and beliefs.
Qualifications
At least 1–2 years of hospitality experience.
Food management certifications are a plus.
Must have the “Run it Like You Own It” mentality.
Excellent organization, customer service, and time management skills.
Proven track record for leadership.
Passion, energy, and a positive attitude.
Work well under pressure and be able to work with a diverse group of people.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Reference checks.
Physical Standards
Must able to stand and exert well‑paced mobility for up to ten hours.
Must be able to safely lift pots, pans, glassware, boxes, etc. up to 50 pounds.
Must be able to read and write to facilitate communication.
Must possess finger and hand dexterity for using small tools and equipment.
