Transport Engineer

Job Overview Our client, a multinational telecommunications technology company is seeking a highly skilled Transport Engineer that will be responsible for creating and updating site transport design paths by using RF site design inputs to build cnd ( formerly Granite) data, dimension hub connectivity and cleaning up unused paths.

CND ( formerly Granite) engineer will also be responsible for IP generations of 4G/5G equipment in INAM or update any missing information, completion of transport CIQ used in hub migrations.

Required Skills

Familiar with Fuze/IOP/Canvas/INAM tools

Knowledge and experience with CND/XNG/Granite circuit database

Knowledge of related interconnect circuit types and features i.e. TLS/EMUX/Dark Fiber/ EOS.

Familiar with Nokia routers eg 7705, 7250, 7750.

Familiar with HUBs and CRAN hubs.

Knowledge of different Verizon Tools.

Site equipment builds including but not limited to Nokia CSR, vDU, iLO

Design/modifications for segments, vlan changes, transport paths, radio builds needed for cband migration.

Creating, designing and issuing Transport CIQs(IP/Ports assignments) and engineering new cells, trunks, cell and switch growth
