Key Responsibilities & Qualifications
Lead technical traffic analysis assignments and supervise technical production.
Act as project manager for traffic studies and engineering design assignments, partnering with the Principal on new transportation planning and traffic engineering contracts.
Attend client and agency meetings, manage traffic methodology approvals, turn lane warrant analyses, ICE analyses, concurrency studies, and Palm Beach County TPS evaluation.
Develop, maintain, and execute project objectives, timelines, goals, and budgets.
Prepare technical reports such as traffic impact analyses and conduct project‑related communications with clients.
Attend project meetings and provide testimony at public hearings.
Supervise and manage other engineers and personnel.
Assist with major project pursuits, new business development, local client relationships, marketing strategies, and local ITE chapter participation.
Provide technical assistance and quality control oversight on traffic engineering studies and design projects, and serve as the technical liaison with clients.
Lead and direct sub‑consultants as needed; oversee technical operational analysis using programs such as CORSIM, HCS, SYNCHRO, and VISSIM.
Prepare written reports and oral presentations on Traffic Studies, Parking Studies, Operation Analysis, and Safety Analysis.
Assist in managing complex programs and projects, with independent and critical thinking and strong organizational and delegation skills.
Hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, 7+ years of traffic/transportation engineering experience, Professional Engineer (PE) registration (required), and PTOE preferred.
Experience with regulatory agencies, traffic signal design and timing, Microsoft Office Suite, and AutoCAD.
Demonstrated leadership ability and client management experience.

The salary range for this position is $95,000 – $125,000.
