Territory Sales Representative - HVAC Wholesale Distribution Location: Houston, Texas
About Us Standard Supply is a leading HVAC wholesale distributor serving residential and commercial contractors across Texas, Oklahoma, and Arizona. We provide high-quality equipment and materials from top manufacturers, paired with exceptional customer service and technical expertise.
The Opportunity We are seeking an experienced Territory Sales Representative with a strong background in HVAC wholesale distribution. This position is ideal for a seasoned sales professional who already has a loyal customer base and wants to make an immediate impact with a company that values performance, autonomy, and long-term relationships.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and grow a defined sales territory through existing relationships and new customer acquisition
Promote our full line of residential and commercial HVAC equipment, parts, and supplies
Conduct regular contractor visits, trainings, and joint sales calls
Collaborate with inside sales, operations, and leadership to drive territory profitability
Track progress using CRM tools and maintain accurate sales forecasts
Requirements
Minimum 5 years’ experience in HVAC wholesale distribution or mechanical trades sales
Established customer network within the HVAC contractor community
Strong product knowledge and the ability to discuss system design and application confidently
Excellent communication, follow-through, and organizational skills
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Preferred Backgrounds Experience in HVAC distribution – selling to or for large distribution channels, or other established HVAC distributors.
Compensation & Benefits
Competitive base salary plus uncapped commission and bonus structure
