Make an Impact as a Commercial Furniture Lead Installer

As a Lead Installer, you'll guide a crew on projects for some of Iowa and South Dakota's most recognized healthcare, education, and business clients. This role is perfect for someone with hands-on installation or construction experience who's ready to step into leadership. If you've led crews before-even outside of furniture installation-you'll find a clear path for growth with us.
What You'll Do
Lead and mentor an installation crew, setting the tone for teamwork and accountability
Manage installation of MillerKnoll and other commercial furniture product lines
Review drawings/blueprints and ensure installs meet project standards
Troubleshoot issues on site and keep projects moving smoothly
Communicate daily with the project team, clients, and contractors in a professional, solutions-focused way
Train newer installers in Pigott's standards and help build their skills
Take ownership of job readiness, site preparation, and follow-through to client sign-off
What We're Looking For
Experience leading crews in installation, construction, carpentry, or a related field
Hands-on skills with power tools, product assembly, and safe material handling
Ability to read and interpret plans, drawings, or blueprints
Strong communication and leadership-able to direct a team and keep projects on track
High school diploma or GED (minimum); 2–3 years of related installation experience preferred
Willingness to work in a physical, fast-moving environment (lifting up to 64 lbs, bending, kneeling, etc.)
