Production Supervisor (Bilingual) - 2nd Shift
Oversees and manages all day-to-day production operations, in the assigned production section. Contributes to production planning processes. Allocates personnel resources. Proposes procedures improvements and implements technical infrastructure. Ensures adherence to established quality guidelines and production safety requirements. Determines manufacturing priorities based on established weekly production schedules. Makes daily assignments. Directs all related personnel actions; advises staff, executes performance measurements, etc. Interprets specifications and makes judgments about the acceptability of production that is in process. Leads all Production Operators in production section assigned.
Essential Functions
Provide manpower planning to ensure production schedules are met.
Lead the training and qualification process of direct reports.
Facilitate team meetings to communicate departmental KPI measurements, etc.
Lead and engage continuous improvement ideas from team members.
Conduct departmental audits (safety, 5S, etc).
Ensure employees are following established procedures and standard work process.
Address employee performance issues in a timely manner.
Manage the time and attendance system to ensure employees’ hours are properly captured.
Ensure that all HSE policy and procedures are being followed.
Conduct accident investigations.
Understand and support all Quality, Product Safety, Human Resources, and Health/Safety/Environmental/Energy Policies.
Understand and adhere to all relevant statutory or regulatory compliance obligations.
Understand, support and adhere to the Integrated Management System policies, procedures and instructions.
Understand and support relevant key performance indicators (KPIs), as defined in the goal tree.
Skills and Competencies
Has SAP system knowledge.
Exhibits accident investigation skills.
Has Dayforce knowledge.
Has working knowledge of lean principles.
Exhibits excellent leadership skills.
Strong communication skills.
Supervisory Responsibility This position has >10 direct hourly reports.
Work Environment The employee will be required to perform duties on a computer terminal and providing leadership on plant floor. The employee may be exposed to shop floor conditions, i.e. noise, heat, cold, dust/dirt etc.
Physical Demands The physical demands are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of an office work environment position.
Required Education and Experience
Associate Degree preferred in Process, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering, Business.
3-5 Years of Relevant Experience.
Candidate must be Bilingual and speak both Spanish and English.
Preferred Education and Experience
Lean Manufacturing, 5S, SAP.

The anticipated salary range for candidates is $72,400- $108,600 per year. The final pay offered to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to the type and years of experience within the job, the type of years and experience within the industry and education. Position is a multi-state employer, and this pay scale may not reflect positions that work in other states or locations. Provided they meet all eligibility requirements under the applicable plan documents, employees (and their eligible dependents) will be eligible to enroll in group healthcare plans that offer medical, dental, vision, and basic life and disability insurance. Employees also will be able to enroll in our company’s 401k plan. Employees will also receive 120 hours of vacation leave and 40 hours of Personal Paid Absence every year.
