Water/Wastewater Operations Specialist

Responsibilities
Operate and maintain wastewater and water treatment facility systems.
Troubleshoot, maintain, and repair mechanical and electrical systems of water and wastewater facilities.
Sample and analyze water, wastewater, and process control laboratory data.
Operate and maintain pump stations, well houses, valves, and related equipment.
Prepare field reports and maintain work area and equipment.
Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED (or equivalent) required.
Obtain water and/or wastewater certifications within 18 months.
Water or sewer experience desirable; EGLE certifications a plus.
Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
Team player willing to pitch in.
